Antholz Valley as a Nature Spot

In summer the Antholz Valley is a real hikers paradise. A number of 3000ers dominate the mountain landscape inviting you to climb them. If you prefer a quieter life, you can take a comfortable walk through mountain pastures stopping off at one of the many mountain refuges offering refreshments, or take a walk around the beautiful Lake Antholz. For relaxing walks we would also highly recommend the Rasner Möser biotope in Rasen-Antholz, where the gentle path offers the perfect opportunity for a walk surrounded by the massifs of the Rieserferner Group. Antholzertal is also a paradise for bikers of course: numerous mountainbike trails criss-cross the entire valley so that everyone, professional and novice alike, can find the perfect route for them.

For keen fishermen the Antholz Valley offers an additional little highlight: the fishing lake in Antholz/Niedertal is an idyllic spot with a children’s play area and kiosk making it perfectly suited to a family day out.

In winter Antholz is a major biathlon centre. The biathlon centre is right next to Lake Antholz, and at particular times during the day amateurs are welcome to have a go and see how their skills measure up. And Kronplatz ski resort is not far away at all. Our guesthouse is just 15km from the lifts. And of course we offer our guests a free skibus connection to take them up there.
